When designing a blog I think it is important to make your blog look welcoming. It needs to have an attractive look. It needs to be approachable. The font should be easy to read and the page should not be too busy. The writing is the most important part of the blog unless you have superb drawing or photographic skills, and in that case you should show off those skills. Still, the writing should shine and capture the reader. This can attract viewers. I love to see wonderful photographs. As I am sure many others do too. The writing also needs to be easy to read and understand. It should be approachable to the average person with an interest in the subject being written about. I think when designing a blog you need to consider how you would view a page if you were to come across it and be critical. When choosing a theme I think it is important to pick a subject that you are really obsessed with, because you would need to write about this subject many times over. You should choose a theme that is comfortable for you and approachable to a reader. You should choose a subject that is interesting to more than just yourself. It is important to write about a subject that you are very passionate about!
